i think there's a reason as to why film photography is making a comeback, and it has everything to do with the fact that it forces you to slow down.
 
being someone who comes from digital photography, the ease with which you can take 100-200 photos in the span of a minute is.... at times, overwhelming. it is representative of how most of us live our life- fast paced, never able to stop and truly appreciate the things around you.
 
film on the other hand literally forces you to see what you're documenting. you have to steady yourself, take deep breaths, and hold still in the moments before pressing the photo. the windup and click behind every photo taken, makes it feel like you really put in the work to capture the perfect frame.

that's why film photography is making a comeback.
