About Me

Hi!!! I’m Rhea — a medical student at Georgetown University. Two years in, and I decided to catch my breath and take a research year before rejoining school to start clinical rotations in March of 2026.

I went to undergrad at UCLA, where I double majored in Biology and German, hoping to make space for both logic and language, systems and storytelling. That choice has shaped my belief that everything intersects, and I don't have to choose one single thing to chase after. After graduating in 2021, I moved to New York to receive my Master’s in Sociomedical Sciences from Columbia. There, I focused on building a foundation to understand health beyond the science and medications, and instead through people and communities.

I started this blog during the pandemic- when I had so much to say and needed a place to share it. But after finishing grad school, life picked up fast. I've spent the last few years juggling med school, health advocacy, photography and content creation- while still trying to travel when I can. Somewhere in the midst of it, Sonder faded into the background — and so did the parts of myself I had grown proud of.

Now, as I pause between chapters, I’m relearning learning how to take care of my sense of self. Finding the grace to grow without shame. Learning to prioritize myself beyond laying in bed to recharge, and part of that has been finding my way back here — back to reflection, back to creativity, back to sharing.

Take a look around — explore my passions, peek into the moments that shape my life, and see what I’ve been up to lately. And hopefully something here will inspire you to reconnect and embrace with the parts of yourself that make you uniquely you.
